Itinerary for a four night stay with La Jolie Ronde in Saint Aubin le
Cauf, ‘Upper Normandie'.
Day 1
-
"La cité de la mer":
Morning :
Depart by coach for Folkestone. Embarkation on the Eurotunnel and Channel crossing. Disembarkation in Coquelles.
Transfer by coach to "La Cité de la Mer" in Dieppe with a stop
for picnic lunch (not included in the price).
Afternoon : the
children will
make a board of sailor’s knots,
then visit the aquarium. Depart
Dieppe to your residential centre "La Maison de la Varenne" by coach for
dinner.
Day 2

Primary school and
visite local farm :
Morning :
After
breakfast, depart your residential centre for the French primary
school and work in partnership with the French children : La Jolie
Ronde educationnal activities. Return to the centre for lunch.
Afternoon : depart by coach to visit the local farm and discover
everything about goats and cheese making. Return to the centre for
dinner.
Day 3
-
Market in Yvetot and chocolate
Museum :
Morning :
Depart the centre for the market in Yvetot for shopping with a
questionnaire. Picnic lunch.
Afternoon
:
visit the
Chocolate Museum with a tasting. Then, treasure hunt in
Fecamp: the "race of the pirates". Return to the centre for
dinner.
Day 4
-
Local
school an visit National Institute of bakery :
Morning :
After
breakfast, depart for the local school
and meet the French children. Depart school by coach for
Rouen and lunch at the local crêperie.
Afternoon :
visit
Jeanne d'Arc Museum with a questionnaire. Leave the
museum by coach and visit the National Institute of bakery to
learn cake and bread making. Leave with your bread at the end of the
visit. Return to your residential centre by coach for dinner.
Day 5

Primary school and
embarkation :
Morning :
After
breakfast depart the centre to visit the local French primary school
and work in partnership with the French children for the last time.
Depart the school for Coquelles with a stop for picnic lunch.
Afternoon :
Embarkation on board the Eurotunnel and Channel crossing.
Arrival in Folkestone and direct transfer to your home town.
